[Risk factors for uterine cervical cancer according to results of VIA, cytology and cervicography].

This study aimed to evaluate the association between risk factors for uterine cervical neoplasms and cervical lesions by HPV by comparison of the visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA), cytology and cervicography results. A prevalence research was made with 157 women in a health center of Fortaleza in the period of June to September 2006. The SPSS program was used to codify the data.

[Digital cervicography criteria: improving sensitivity in uterine cervical cancer diagnosis].

This study aimed to validate the scoring criteria for digital cervicography. The study enrolled 300 women submitted to a clinical protocol using cytological examination alone, digital cervicography without image magnification (Evaluation 1), and digital cervicography plus additional image magnification and considering the positive criteria (Evaluation 2). Women's mean age was 27.
