Background: Hematoma growth is an independent determinant of outcome in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Predictors of hematoma expansion are poorly defined. Our aim is to determine predictors of hematoma expansion in patients with ICH.

Changes are consistent with frontotemporal dysfunction, and may range from mild abnormalities only recognized with formal neuropsychological testing, to profound frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Executive function, behavior, and language are the most likely areas to be involved.
