Objective: The interpretation of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) reports is crucial for the diagnosis of axial spondyloarthritis, but the subjective nature of narrative reports can lead to varying interpretations. This study presents a validation of a novel MRI reporting system for the sacroiliac joint in clinical practice.

Methods: A historical review was conducted on 130 consecutive patients referred by 2 rheumatologists for initial MRI assessment of possible axial spondyloarthritis.

Purpose: Patients may seek online information to better understand medical imaging procedures. The purpose of this study was to assess the accuracy of information provided by 2 popular artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots pertaining to common imaging scenarios' risks, benefits, and alternatives.

Methods: Fourteen imaging-related scenarios pertaining to computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were used.

Purpose: The deep temporal vein (DTV) can be used in free flap procedures when the superficial temporal vein is inadequate. Despite its potential utility, its branching patterns have only been examined in one small anatomic study. The purpose of this study was to examine computed tomography angiography (CTA) images to determine DTV location, variation, and suitability as a microvascular recipient, to provide surgeons with a guide for its use in head and neck defects.

Bursitis is a common musculoskeletal cause of shoulder pain and treatment varies, thus correctly diagnosing and grading bursitis is paramount in deciding management. Our aim was to assess reliability in grading shoulder bursitis on ultrasonography among fellowship trained musculoskeletal radiologists at our institution. Retrospective study of patients diagnosed with bursitis on ultrasonography.

Purpose: To determine if CT can improve the diagnostic confidence for the detection of sacroiliac joint (SIJ) erosions in patients with equivocal MRI findings.

Methods: A retrospective analysis of adult patients who had an SIJ MRI and a subsequent SIJ CT within 12 months was conducted. Using a 5-point Likert scale, two reviewers evaluated the de-identified MRI and CT images in randomized order and in separate sessions to answer the question: "Does the patient have SIJ erosions?".

We present an unusual case of sartorius muscle tear presenting as acute meralgia paresthetica. A healthy 67-year old male was referred to our department with a one-week history of pain, numbness and bruising over his hip and anterolateral thigh. Extended ultrasound assessment revealed an intramuscular tear of sartorius, with acute hematoma surrounding the adjacent lateral femoral cutaneous nerve.

Sweet's syndrome is characterised by pyrexia, cutaneous lesions, neutrophilia and an infiltrate of mature neutrophils in the dermis. While extracutaneous disease is not uncommon, neutrophilic fasciitis has rarely been described. We report the imaging appearances with clinical and histological correlation of a case of drug-induced neutrophilic fasciitis in a 56-year-old man.
