According to epidemiologic data patients with epilepsy generally have more caries, more missing teeth and worse periodontal status than the normal population. Epilepsy patients have a great risk of injury during their seizures or aspiration of foreign bodies such as removable dental prosthesis or fragments of prosthesis. Fixed dental replacements are therefore recommended to reduce this risk.

It is also possible for such a tooth not to get back into the original socket, and it would be replaced to another tooth alveoli. In this presented case we transplanted a wisdom tooth to the place of the first lower molar immediately after extraction.
