[«Effects of intergenerationality (relationships, contacts and programmes) on reducing ageism: A systematic review (2013-2023)»].

Discrimination against people on the basis of age, ageism, is one of the most latent forms of discrimination in today's society. In this systematic review we analysed the impact of intergenerationality (relationships, contacts and programmes) on reducing ageism. Eighteen articles were selected following the PRISMA protocol, searching three major databases (Scopus, WoS and ERIC).

Application of STOPP/START criteria in older patients in primary care using RStudio®.

Objectives: To estimate the frequency of potentially inappropriate prescribing (PIP) in outpatients according to STOPP/START criteria, and to identify risk factors. For this purpose, an algorithm was developed and validated in RStudio® based on the information collected in the electronic prescription.

Methods: The data corresponds to dispensations from two pharmacies in Spain made to patients over 18 years, over 4 years.

Pharmacist comprehensive review of fall-risk-increasing drugs and polypharmacy in elderly Spanish community patients using RStudio®.

Objective: The aim of this study is to identify and analyze adults aged ≥65 years living in the Canary Islands, Spain, who are prescribed medications that increase the risk of falls and are polymedicated. To do so we have made use of the electronic prescription and the RStudio®.

Method: For the detection of Fall-Risk-Increasing Drugs (FRIDs), outpatient electronic prescription dispensing data were used in two pharmacies.
