Background: The critical reading development requires the reader get involved with author idea, systematizing, arguing and debating the information sources. Our objective was to evaluate the development of the skill to critical reading of theoretical text in education with an educational strategies aimed to promote active participation.
Methods: A study of intervention, comparative, multicentre and prospective with five groups of students was designed An instrument was refined and validated to measure the critical reading ability of theoretical text before and after the educational strategies, that had in common the aim to favor development critical reading from the participative approach of the education.
Introduction: The Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social faces some problems and one of them is to promote research in health area, and development of teachers and researchers. With the support of the Fondo de Fomento a la Investigación (FOFOI) a project was developed through professors in order to create the Methodological Diplomat in Teaching First Level in those delegations that do not have a Centro de Investigación Educativa y Formación Docente (CIEFD) with the intention of have an alternative program for the institutional professors.
Material And Methods: Intervention study comparing before and after the interventions inside each group and among the groups of professors who are in the program Diplomat in Teaching First Level with different systems: a) full time at the CIEFD; b) program at distance with the help of tutors.
The Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social carries out a project of enormous relevance: to train health attention staff, which is its main function. The emergence and progress of a different concept and practice of teaching made possible the creation of the Institutional Teaching Career at the end of 2004. This achievement represents the acknowledgement of teaching practice, making possible the permanence, self-improvement and promotion of those professors truly committed to a teaching practice of greater importance at IMSS.

Objective: The study deals theoretical aspects of evaluation and the importance of consider one as part of a research process. The diverse theoretical trends in the field of education are synthesized in two main tendencies: the participating and passive education perspectives. The influences of these two tendencies in selection the subjects for evaluation are also discussed in order to explore the gammagraphic interpretation aptitude in residents of nuclear medicine.
