Introduction: The transformative feature of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the massive capacity for interpreting and transforming unstructured data into a coherent and meaningful context. In general, the potential that AI will alter traditional approaches to student research and its evaluation appears to be significant. With regard to research in global health, it is important for students and research experts to assess strengths and limitations of GenAI within this space.

This study aims to define key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the logistic and operational performance during the COVID-19 National Vaccination Plan in Colombia.
Methods: This study employed the design science research (DSR) methodology to develop a dashboard for monitoring COVID-19 vaccination progress.

In 2021, over 100,000 Americans died of a drug overdose and more than 75% of these deaths involved an opioid. Exercise has been shown to increase abstinence and decrease anxiety and depression in people with a substance use disorder.

The current systematic review synthesized available original research on objective and self-reported sleep health dimensions among adults aged 18 to 50 years in outpatient treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD). A comprehensive search was conducted using multiple electronic databases followed by screening 2,738 records published in English from the inception of each database to September 14, 2021. Quality was assessed with the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (version 2001).

We used a qualitative descriptive approach to conduct in-depth semi-structured focused interviews with a purposive sample of 16 young adults with T1D, transitioning from adolescence to early adulthood. Interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim, and analyzed using qualitative content analysis.

The aim of this study was to describe the coupling between glucose and unstructured physical activity over 168 h in young adults with T1D. We hypothesized that there would be differences in sleep and wake characteristics and circadian variations.

To support the monitoring of these processes and associated decision-making, a dashboard was designed in Google Data Studio focused on analyzing the progress of COVID-19 vaccination and its logistics efficiency. This article describes the design and implementation of the dashboard using a design science approach and discusses the main lessons learned.

Quantitative analyses showed that approximately half of participants have used social media to collect client-related information; nearly one-quarter indicated "often" or "nearly daily" use. Adjusting for the effects of worker characteristics, social-media use was associated with the type of agency involved and with increased tenure in social services.

In doing so, we chart the evolution of media representations in relation to the global health context and the implications of these representations for people living with HIV. Our overarching argument is that media discourses on HIV in Bolivia have consistently been produced in a context of an unequal balance of power between global health bodies and local actors.

We describe the case of a 13-year-old girl with paradoxical vocal fold motion (PVFM) who failed to improve with repeated medical treatment, speech therapy and psychotherapy, but was successfully treated with botulinum toxin A (BTX-A) injection to the vocal folds. For delivering the BTX-A we used a channeled fiber-optic laryngoscope under local anesthesia, in an office setting. The patient remained asymptomatic of PVFM for 5 months, was successfully treated again with the same method, and had no important side effects.

In species breeding in temperate and arctic regions T circulates at high levels during a relatively short courtship period because high levels of T can be costly in terms of immunocompetence and parental care. Few studies have investigated androgen modulation of courtship behavior in tropical birds.
