There has been a new framework with new laws and a new Code in Argentina in recent years in order to put its legal system in congruence with International Convenants on Human Rights and in particular with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Through this new laws Argentina legal system recognize that persons with disabilities enjoy capacity on an equal basis with others in all aspects of life and the State shall take appropiate measures to provide access by persons with disabilities to the support they may require in excercising their legal capacity with safeguards.

DSM-5 moved OCD out from under the Anxiety Disorder section, into a new category: Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders and added two new specifiers. Specifically a modification of one specifier (insight) and the addition of a new tic specifier. DSM-5 redefined obsessions and recognizes the importance of avoidance and thought stopping beyond compulsions as other strategies to deal with obsessions.

This article makes an initially tour of the definitions of violence, aggression and impulsiveness. Violence is a manifestation associated with various aspects of human behavior in different contexts of society and history. It can also be a clinical manifestation of a psychiatric disorder, the behavioral modality of some people with personality disorders, the expression of a somatic disorder, an action exercised by an individual under the influence of substances, as well as the expected reaction of an individual or a group to a specific trigger situation.

The main objective of this article is to encourage criticism of and reflection on the indication for psychiatric hospitalization through the mentioning of some recent National Supreme Court of Justice rulings that affect our practice, as well as through a critical review of the traditional concept of dangerousness, to provide support for the two possible types of psychiatric hospitalization: urgent hospitalization secondary to certain and imminent risk of injury and therapeutic hospitalization. It is further proposed that said indication be delivered by a team including the psychologist, and that this indication be monitored by the courts.

Obsessive-compulsive symptoms (OCS) have been observed in a substantial proportion of schizophrenic patients. In this paper, the rate of occurrence of OCS and OCD in schizophrenic patients, and also the interrelationship between OCS and schizophrenic symptoms, depressive symptoms, cognitive function and age are reviewed. The author proposes to use the term "group of schizo-obsessive disorders" and proposes an integrate classification system.

OCD is a chronic and disabling anxiety disorder, it has a chronic course and few patients achieve true remission. OCD is clearly associated with a significant functional disability. Treatment with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) is effective in 40 % to 60 % of patients with OCD, but that leaves a large percentage of patients who are non responsive to treatment.

The tyramine syndrome and the serotonin syndrome are a complex of signs and symptoms that are thought to be largely attributable to drug - drug interactions or drug - food interactions that enhances norepinephrine o serotonin activity. This article reviews: pharmacological basis of those syndromes; clinical features; forbidden foods, drug-drug interactions, and treatment options. Finally a set of legal recommendations are proposed to avoid liability litigations.
