Objective: Cryptorchidism affects up to 6% of full-term male infants, and orchidopexy has been shown to reduce impaired spermatogenesis and malignant risks significantly. However, the relationship between orchidopexy and sexual function has not been investigated. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate sexual function outcomes in adult patients who underwent orchidopexy for unilateral undescended testis in childhood.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the predictive value of platelet volume indices (PVI), such as mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW), and plateletcrit (PCT), as prognostic indicators of testicular viability in torsion patients with steady-state sickle cell anemia (SCA) who underwent surgical exploration.

Methods: Forty-eight patients with SCA with testicular torsion and 46 male control subjects were enrolled in the study. All patients underwent scrotal color Doppler ultrasonography before surgery, and PVI (MPV, PDW, and PCT) values were measured in all participants.

Introduction: There is emerging literature on the decline in adherence to preventive measures against the COVID-19 pandemic, a phenomenon of pandemic fatigue (PF). However, academics and policymakers have debated its existence and consequences. We conducted this study to explore this phenomenon, its existence, determinants, and relation to adherence to COVID-19 preventive measures, and the mediating role of resilience, fear of COVID-19, and electronic health literacy about COVID-19 in this relationship.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the predictive value of platelet volume indices (PVIs), such as mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW), and plateletcrit (PCT), as prognostic parameters of detumescence in acute ischemic priapism (IP) patients with sickle cell anemia (SCA) in steady-state who received intracavernosal injections of phenylephrine with aspiration and saline irrigation.

Methods: Fifty-six SCA patients with acute IP and 54 healthy male control subjects were included in the research. Priapism was diagnosed by penile Doppler ultrasound and corporal blood gas tests before intervention.

Objective: The objective of this study was to assess the relationship between retinal vessel diameters, such as retinal arteriolar diameter, retinal venular diameter, and arteriolar/venular ratio (AVR), as clinical parameters of fertility in varicocele patients.

Materials And Methods: Sixty-eight (68) infertile varicocele men with abnormal semen parameters and sixty-one (61) varicocele normozoospermic men were included in the study. Moreover, fifty-eight (58) healthy normozoospermic men without varicocele were enrolled as a control group.

A metastatic disease causes jaundice is not uncommon and usually related to direct tumor invasion to the biliary tree or massive intrahepatic metastasis. Cholestasis secondary to non-traumatic intrahepatic bleeding caused by metastasis from prostate cancer is never been reported in the literature. We present the first case of a-71-years-old patient developed Cholestasis due to spontaneous intrahepatic bleeding caused by metastasis from prostate cancer that was successfully treated conservatively.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of platelet count (PLT) and platelet volume indices (PVI) such as mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW) and plateletcrit (PCT) as a clinical biomarker in 64 infertile males with varicocele and 45 controls. In addition, semen parameters, serum total testosterone, FSH and testicular volume were measured before and at 6 months after varicocelectomy. The mean PLT, MPV, PDW and PCT were 231 ± 42 × 103/µl, 9.
