Purpose: To evaluate 12 month surgical outcome of Kahook Dual Blade (KDB) goniotomy in combination with cataract surgery in Latino patients with open angle glaucoma (OAG) and ocular hypertension (OHT).

Methods: This retrospective study included 45 eyes of 40 patients who underwent KDB goniotomy combined with cataract extraction from January 2016 to September 2020 at two centers in South America. Primary outcome was surgical success defined as ≥ 20% intraocular pressure (IOP) reduction or ≥ 1 medication reduction from preoperative without additional IOP-lowering procedures and an IOP ≥ 5 mmHg or ≤ 21 mmHg.

The current study examines adolescents' personal and witnessed experiences with cyber victimization during the beginning stages of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Patients with secondary immunodeficiency (SID) are at increased risk of infections and may be treated with immunoglobulin replacement therapy (IgRT). Despite growing efficacy evidence for IgRT in infection prevention in SID, treatment guidelines are not aligned. A retrospective database analysis was conducted to assess treatment patterns and infection rates in patients at risk of SID-related infections, with or without IgRT (IgPro10) exposure, to evaluate real-world effectiveness of IgRT in infection prevention.

[Neutropenic enterocolitis in the pediatric cancer patient].

Neutropenic enterocolitis (NEC) is a heterogeneous disease of the gastrointestinal tract with systemic response, that corresponds to a severe and life-threatening clinical condition in immunocompromised patients, especially in childhood cancer. The pathologic features are poorly understood, although its multifactorial cause of NEC is well established and it is associated with the cytotoxic effects of the chemotherapy agents used and recognized by the classic triad of fever, neutropenia, and abdominal pain, secondary to gastrointestinal injuries that alters mucosal permeability and helps intramural bacterial invasion. NEC is truly a clinical challenge that requires an early diagnosis and a multidisciplinary approach including basic laboratory and imagological tests in high complexity centers.

Cystoid Macular Edema after an uncomplicated Gonioscopy- Assisted Transluminal Trabeculotomy on a previously vitrec- tomized patient.

Purpose: The main purpose of this study was to report a case of cystoid macular edema (CME) after gonioscopy-assisted transluminal trabeculotomy (GATT).

Methods: We describe the case of a 73-year-old woman with ocular hypertension and history of cataract surgery combined with posterior vitrectomy and epiretinal membrane peeling 2 years before, who developed CME after uncomplicated GATT procedure.

Results: Uneventful GATT surgery was performed in an eye with ocular hypertension.
