Objective: The dysphagia associated pulmonary aspiration is one of the important reasons for mortality and morbidity in stroke. In this study, we evaluated the early swallowing functions of the acute ischemic stroke patients, and tried to choose the right way to start feeding with simple tests.

Methods: Seventy-three inpatients with acute stroke were included in this study.

Background And Purpose: In cancer patients, an ischemic stroke can be seen as both a direct effect of cancer and a complication of treatment. This condition can negatively affect the follow-up and treatment of these patients. For this research, we aimed to evaluate the clinical features, stroke types and etiological features of ischemic stroke patients with histories of cancer or found to have cancer during the aetiological investigation.
