Methods: Two custom printed-circuit-board-based electrode arrays with 60 and 8 electrodes, respectively, matching the stapler geometry, served as the jaws of an electrode-integrated surrogate stapler+EIT device. The device was evaluated through a series of simulations and bench-top imaging experiments of agar-gel phantoms and bovine tissue samples to evaluate the technique and determine optimal imaging parameters.

Though the use of CBG has recently witnessed a widespread surge because of its beneficial health effects and lack of psychoactivity, its metabolism by human cytochrome P450s is largely unknown. Here we demonstrate that stoichiometric BiTe, which is a natural superlattice of alternating two BiTe quintuple layers and one Bi bilayer, is a dual 3D topological insulator where a weak topological insulator phase and topological crystalline insulator phase appear simultaneously. We show that asymmetric scattering of Dirac fermions driven back and forth by the terahertz electric field results in a dc electric current. Because of the "symmetry filtration" the dc current is generated by the surface electrons only and provides an optoelectronic access to probe the electron transport in TI, surface domains orientation, and details of electron scattering in 3D TI even at room temperature.
