Immunoglobulin G antibody immune response profile following infection with SARS-CoV-2 in COVID-19 Egyptian patients.

This study aimed to report the dynamic profile of IgG-specific antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 infection for 6 months after infection. We conducted a prospective study, recruited 33 recently confirmed covid -19 patients and collected 6 samples from each patient. The first samples were collected one month from the start of symptoms and subsequent samples collected at 30 days interval.

Bromfenac alone or with single intravitreal injection of bevacizumab or triamcinolone acetonide for treatment of uveitic macular edema.

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy of bromfenac drops alone or with a single intravitreal injection of bevacizumab (IVB) or triamcinolone acetonide (IVTA) in the treatment of uveitic macular edema (UME).

Design: Comparative case series. STUDY PARTICIPANT: Sixty-seven eyes (of 55 patients) with UME that received either bromfenac drops alone (n = 34), IVB plus bromfenac (n = 21) or IVTA plus bromfenac (n = 12).

High IL-23 level is a marker of disease activity in rheumatoid arthritis.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune systemic disorder characterized by inflammatory responses mainly affecting the synovial joints. Interleukin-23 (IL-23) is a heterodimeric pro-inflammatory cytokine secreted by activated dendritic cells and activated macrophages. IL-23 is the key cytokine controlling inflammation in peripheral tissues leading to the development of autoimmune diseases.
