Introduction: Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy used concomitantly with maintenance temozolomide through second progression after radio-chemotherapy is associated with improved survival outcomes compared to adjuvant temozolomide alone in individuals with newly diagnosed glioblastoma (GBM). Lomustine (CCNU) is frequently used as monotherapy or concomitant with other chemotherapy regimens as second-line treatment for recurrent GBM.

Case Presentation: We report a 59-year-old female patient diagnosed with -promoter methylated, isocitrate dehydrogenase-wildtype GBM (World Health Organization Grade 4) who received TTFields therapy concomitant with first- and second-line chemotherapy following partial resection.

This paper describes the so called "radical reduction of the hip" (Cakirgil's) procedure for children above four years of age, with high developmental dislocation of the hip. The procedure is a combined one-stage operation including adductor tenotomy, open reduction, femoral shortening, proximal femoral varus-derotation osteotomy and Dega's osteotomy. Radical reduction is a safe and effective procedure for high dislocations with shallow acetabulum.

Background And Purpose: In radiotherapy of the breast following breast-conserving surgery, the adverse reaction predominantly found is confined to the skin. After phase II studies, Thêta-Cream, containing CM Glucan, Hydroxyprolisilan C und Matrixyl as active substances, was said to have prophylactic properties of preventing acute radiation side effects in skin tissue. In a prospective randomized study, Thêta-cream was compared with standard skin care using Bepanthol lotion.
