As municipalities focus on minimizing their carbon footprints, future permits could regulate GHG emissions from wastewater treatment plants. This study investigates how nitrous oxide (NO) emissions are affected by dissolved oxygen and nitrite concentrations, providing potential strategies to meet possible gaseous emission permits.
