Introduction: Enhanced recovery after bariatric surgery (ERABS) protocols consist of a combination of several preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative methods for the management of the surgical patient. Pneumatosis intestinalis (PI) is a radiological finding representing the presence of gas in the bowell, independently of the cause or location. We present the case of a 55-year-old man who was admitted presenting two-week history of intense vomiting.
