Paragangliomas are rare neuroendocrine tumors, often associated with catecholamine secretion. These tumors can arise in various locations, with the majority found in the abdomen and pelvis, while a smaller percentage occurs in the thorax and head and neck regions. Diaphragmatic paragangliomas are exceedingly rare, with only two documented cases in the literature.

The sternoclavicular joint dislocation is a very infrequent injury that can put the patient's life at risk if it is not diagnosed and treated properly. This can present as an anterior or posterior dislocation, the latter being less common and more dangerous due to its proximity to visceral structures of the thoracic cavity. Herein, we present the case of a 19-year-old male athlete diagnosed with a posterior dislocation of the right sternoclavicular joint due to indirect trauma during a soccer match, who was successfully treated with a figure-of-eight cerclage with high-resistance sutures plus an InternalBrace technique.

This case describes a rare and complex presentation of Takayasu arteritis, a large vessel vasculitis primarily affecting young females. Unlike typical Takayasu arteritis cases characterized by arterial stenosis, this 34-year-old male presented with an unusually high number of aneurysms affecting the aorta, subclavian arteries, and other segments. This unique abundance of aneurysms complicates diagnosis and management.

Urolithiasis is a prevalent urological condition characterized by stone formation in the urinary tract, but stones weighing more than 100 g are rare. The Mayan and Mestizo populations in Yucatan have been identified as being at an increased risk of urolithiasis because of the coexistence of environmental, genetic, metabolic, and lifestyle risk factors. The patient's occupation may play a significant role in enhancing these factors.
