Although the antiallergic properties of compounds such as CAPE, Melatonin, Curcumin, and Vitamin C have been poorly discussed by experimental studies, the antiallergic properties of these famous molecules have never been discussed with calculations. The histamine-1 receptor (H1R) belongs to the family of rhodopsin-like G-protein-coupled receptors expressed in cells that mediate allergies and other pathophysiological diseases. In this study, pharmacological activities of FDA-approved second generation H1 antihistamines (Levocetirizine, desloratadine and fexofenadine) and molecules such as CAPE, Melatonin, Curcumin, Vitamin C, ADMET (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion, Toxicity) profiles, density functional theory (DFT), molecular docking, biological targets and activities were compared by calculating.

This study investigates the phenolic compounds (PC), volatile compounds (VC), and fatty acids (FA) of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) derived from the Turkish olive variety "Sarı Ulak", along with ADMET, DFT, molecular docking, and gene network analyses of significant molecules identified within the EVOO. Chromatographic methods (GC-FID, HPLC) were employed to characterize FA, PC, and VC profiles, while quality parameters, antioxidant activities (TAC, ABTS, DPPH) were assessed via spectrophotometry. The analysis revealed a complex composition of 40 volatile compounds, with estragole, 7-hydroxyheptene-1, and 3-methoxycinnamaldehyde as the primary components.

Hydrogels prepared with natural and synthetic polymers were found to be applicable for the development of resistance against some Gram positive and negative bacterial species. Numerous studies have shown that chitosan polymers can be advantageous to be used in medicine due to their high antibacterial activity. In this study, biocompatible yellow cantorone oil doped hydrogels (chitosan/poly(vinyl alcohol) based) with antimicrobial properties were synthesized.

This report presents the synthesis and characterization of a range of benzimidazolium salts featuring 3-cyanopropyl groups on the 1 nitrogen atom and varied alkyl groups on the 3 nitrogen atom within the benzimidazole structure. Benzimidazolium salts were synthesized by N-alkylation of 1-alkyl benzimidazole with 3-cyanopropyl-bromide. The new salts were characterized by H and C-NMR, FT-IR spectroscopic and elemental analysis techniques.

Aims: This paper aimed to investigate the antiviral drugs against Sars-Cov-2 main protease (MPro) using in silico methods.

Material And Method: A search was made for antiviral drugs in the PubChem database and antiviral drugs such as Bictegravir, Emtricitabine, Entecavir, Lamivudine, Tenofovir, Favipiravir, Hydroxychloroquine, Lopinavir, Oseltamavir, Remdevisir, Ribavirin, Ritonavir were included in our study. The protein structure of Sars-Cov-2 Mpro (PDB ID: 6LU7) was taken from the Protein Data Bank (www.

Bacteria can form biofilms on any surface, which causes biofilm-associated infections and bacterial resistance to antibiotics. Thus, it is important to design new-generation non-chemotherapeutic nanoagents for effective antibacterial and antibiofilm strategies. Herein, the effects of the anchoring groups, which are imidazole and carboxylic acid, of zinc phthalocyanines (ZnPcs) sensitized TiO on () and () were investigated under light-emitting diode (LED) irradiation.

Purpose: Oxidative stress in the vertebral endplates of patients with low back pain and Modic changes (MCs) (types I, II, and III) endplate changes on magnetic resonance imaging. 8-iso-prostaglandin F (8-iso-PGF) has been proposed as new indicator of oxidative stress. Raftlin, as an inflammatory biomarker, has been previously reported in inflammatory diseases.

Bioactive compounds found in plants also have pharmacological antiviral effects. Berberine (BBR), an alkaloid found naturally in plants, is one of the phytochemicals with a wide range of biological activities, including antiviral, anticancer, anti-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory. In this study, we firstly aimed to predict pIC50 values for selcted compounds and then extract the binding patterns of berberine and its derivatives in the Sars Cov-2 Master Protease structure via employing molecular docking approache.

Introduction: Biological factors are known to be important in understanding the pathogenesis of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Oxidative stress and neuroinflammation pathways are likely to play a critical role here.

Methods: We undertook a study to investigate two novel biomarkers - serum NADPH oxidase 1 (NOX1) and Raftlin levels - in treatment-naive, smoking-free first episode patients with MDD compared to healthy controls (HCs) matched for age, sex and body mass index.

Introduction: Henoch-Schönlein Purpura (HSP) is a systemic vasculitic syndrome characterized by non-thrombocytopenic purpura, arthritis/arthralgia, abdominal pain, and glomerulonephritis. The pathogenesis of HSP has not been clearly identified. Oxidative damage has a role in the pathogenesis of most cases.

Objective: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a heterogeneous, highly heritable, a common childhood neurobehavioural disorder resulting from complex gene-gene and gene-environment interactions. The erythropoietin (Epo)/erythropoietin receptors (EpoR) system turned out to have additional important functions in nonhematopoietic tissue. In this study, we aimed to investigate the levels of Epo and and EpoR, and also their diagnostic values in children with ADHD.

Objectives: Although there has been much research into the cause of stuttering, it has not yet been fully clarified. There is known to be a close relationship between stress severity and stuttering. The aim of this study was to evaluate the levels of oxidative and nitrosative stress by comparing a stuttering group and a control group.
