Modification of the dielectric friction layer materials is an ideal way to enhance the output performance of a triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG), but current research mostly focuses on the metal-polymer or metal-SiO materials. In this work, we constructed different TENG models based on polymer C F -SiO electret materials, and the electronic properties of the different contact surfaces were investigated using first principles. We found that the charge transfer in C F -SiO materials occurred only at the contact interface, and it was partially affected by the terminal atoms near the SiO interface.

Unstable anode/electrolyte interfaces have significantly hindered the development of lithium (Li) metal batteries under high rates and large capacities. In this study, a versatile reactive layer based on sulfur-selenium crosslinked polyacrylonitrile brushes has been developed by a combined strategy of polymer topology design and chemical crosslinking. High-voltage lithium-metal batteries (HVLMBs) are appealing candidates for next-generation high-energy rechargeable batteries, but their practical applications are still limited by the severe capacity degradation, attributed to the poor interfacial stability and compatibility between the electrode and the electrolyte. In this work, a 2D conjugated phthalocyanine framework (CPF) containing single atoms (SAs) of cobalt (CoSAs-CPF) is developed as a novel artificial solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI) in which a large amount of charge is transferred to the CPF skeleton due to the Lewis acid activity of the Co metal sites and the strong electron-absorbing property of the cyano group (-CN), greatly enhancing the adsorption of the Li and regulating the Li distribution toward dendrite-free LMBs, which are superior to most of the reported SEI membranes. As a result, the Li||Li symmetrical cell with CoSAs-CPF-modified Li anodes (CoSAs-CPF@Li) exhibits a low polarization with an area capacity of 1.

During our investigations of saprobic fungi, five fungal collections from terrestrial habitats in China and Thailand were examined using both morphological and multi-gene phylogenetic approaches (LSU, ITS, 1-α, and 2), resulting in the identification of three novel species: , , and . and are morphologically similar in their asexual morphs but can be distinguished based on their molecular phylogenetic data.
