- A new method using liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (LC/ESI-MS) has been developed to identify both soyasaponins and soy isoflavones in soy products at the same time.
- The analysis detects specific molecular ions and fragment ions to create a distinct "fingerprint" for identifying and classifying soyasaponins into group A or B.
- A quantification approach for soyasaponin B(b) has been established using purified standard samples, enhancing the accuracy of soy-derived product analysis.
