New species, notes on the biology of Scaptolenus LeConte (Coleoptera: Elateridae), and a key to the vagans-group.

Two new species of the genus Scaptolenus LeConte (Coleoptera: Elateridae: Elaterinae: Cebrionini) from Mexico are described and illustrated: Scaptolenus pacofierroi sp. nov., found in the municipality of Aldama, in the state of Tamaulipas and Scaptolenus zuritai sp.
