Introduction: Pre-emptive access to the kidney transplant (KT) waiting list remains limited in France, with only 3.9% of patients on pre-emptive KT and 5.6% of patients registered at the time of initiation of dialysis.

Animals both domestic and wild serve as reservoirs for zoonotic infections. Thus, frequent contact with animals might occasionally result in the transfer of infections from animals to people.

This requires early diagnosis and interventions including prevention and treatment of the resultant anaemia. Unfortunately, congenital heart disease (CHD) often goes unrecognized and thus untreated.

Diagnosis relies mainly on microscopy-based methods which are laborious, are limited by low sensitivity, and require high expertise.

This review describes prevalence and prevention of inappropriate prescribing and risk factors associated with psychotropic medications.
Methods: MEDLINE and GOOGLE SCHOLAR data base were searched for the key words "older adults", "psychotropic drugs", "inappropriate prescribing", "nursing home residents", "community-dwelling older adults".
Objective: We describe in this first series of lupus documented in Niger, the epidemiological, diagnostic, therapeutic and prognostic aspects.
Method: This is a prospective study in internal medicine at the National Hospital of Niamey during 10 years. ACR criteria were used as diagnostic criteria.
Malaria is a major public health problem in Niger. The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria launched, in 2011, an initiative entitled "Affordable Medicines Facility - Malaria" or AMFm which aims to make artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACT) more available, more accessible and to eliminate the development of artemisinin resistance. It is in this context that we have conducted a randomized comparative double open-arm study of the efficacy and safety of artemether-lumefantrine (AL) and artesunate-amodiaquine (AM) in Gaya.

With some exceptions, the person entitles this right in age of majority. It is acquired without legal procedures, however the annulment of legal capacity requires a juristic process.

Materials And Methods: Stage IIB - IVA cervical cancer patients received external irradiation and concomitant intracavitary brachytherapy. Blood samples for immunophenotypic analysis by flow cytometry were collected from each patient one day before starting RT and one day after completing RT.
The aim was to investigate whether the humoral immunity and overexpression of calreticulin in tumor tissue determined before surgery, correlate with incidence of metastases in breast cancer patients within two years after operation. Before operation, their humoral immunity and overexpression of caleticulin and Her-2/neu in tumor tissue were analyzed by immunohystochemistry. In 23 patients with metastases in regionally lymph nodes, seven had Her-2/neu overexpression.

In patients with disturbed vital functions (breathing, swallowing) evacuation of hematomas and removal of the malformation eliminate life endangering compressive effect on the vital structures of the brain stem. It is not disputable that patients with superficially localized cavernomas and progressing neurological deficit should be subjected to surgical treatment.

Considering the anatomical characteristics of the cerebral angiomas and their localization, in a great number of cases they demand a combined therapeutic approach--surgery, embolization and radiotherapy. Besides the constant progress of technology, 5% of all cerebral angiomas can not be completely excluded from the circulation.

The tetranuclear complex [{Me2(DMFU)SnOSn(DMFU)Me2}2] (9) was prepared by the reaction of dimethyltin(IV) oxide and 2,5-dimethyl-3-furoic acid (DMFUH). The molecular structures of 3, 4 and 9, were determined by X-ray diffraction studies.
