Leukoerythroblastosis is rarely encountered in clinical practice and is characterized by the presence of leukocytosis and erythroid and myeloid blast cells in peripheral blood. The most common causes of leukoerythroblastosis in early childhood are viral infection, juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia, and osteopetrosis. To the best of our knowledge, leukoerythroblastic reactions associated with hemolysis have not been previously reported in newborns.

True hermaphrodite is one of the rare gonadal as well as genital abnormality due to a defect in sexual differentiation. Here, we are reporting the most unusual type of true hermaphrodite diagnosed at the age of 25 years during operation for undescended testis, presenting as a case of infertility and failure to ejaculate during sexual intercourse. The patient was found to have grossly as well as histologically proven left ovary, left fallopian tube and uterus as well as a well descended left testis, with totally absent either right fallopian tube and ovary or testis.

A patient with diabetic ketoacidosis admitted for treatment developed features characteristic of rhinocerebral mucormycosis, confirmed by histopathologic examination, is presented. The patient had been experiencing symptoms of diabetes for one month before presentation to the hospital in state of diabetic ketoacidosis. Within a few days of admission he developed mucormycosis of the nasal cavity and the orbit which extended to the brain very fast and resulted in death.
