The association between anthropometric indices and ischemic heart disease: a large-scale cross-sectional study on the Iranian population.

This study aimed to evaluate the superiority of anthropometric indices compared to others for predicting ischemic heart disease (IHD) or cardiometabolic risk factors. This study was a cross-sectional analysis of the Pars Cohort Study data. In total, 9229 Valashahr inhabitants aged 40-75 were included in the analysis.

Effect of Treatment with Colchicine after Acute Coronary Syndrome on Major Cardiovascular Events: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Clinical Trials.

Aim: Colchicine as an anti-inflammatory drug might be effective in the treatment of atherosclerosis, an inflammatory-based condition. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to evaluate the impact of colchicine on acute coronary syndrome (ACS).

Methods: We searched SCOPUS, PubMed, and Web of Science up to September 27, 2020.

Indirect effects of COVID-19 in referring women to gynecologic oncology, perinatology and gynecology clinics in Iran.

Purpose: COVID-19 has captured the world. We hypothesized that this pandemic reduced referral of other non-COVID-19 patients to the hospitals or clinics, including gynecological and perinatological referrals. Women can be at risk in limited use of health services.
