The study investigated how COVID-19-related factors like phobia, pain, sleep quality, and physical activity affect university students' academic achievements during remote learning due to the pandemic.
A survey with 353 health sciences students used various scales to assess pain, fatigue, fear, physical activity, sleep quality, quality of life, and satisfaction with online learning.
Results showed that age, BMI, and multiple quality of life domains (physical, psychological, social) significantly correlated with students' academic performance, highlighting the need for strategies to enhance students' overall well-being and success during such crises.
