Article Synopsis
  • - The study explored autoimmune hepatitis (AIH), a rare liver disease, by analyzing data from 343 adult patients in Korea diagnosed between 2005 and 2009, noting a predominance of females and a mean age of 52.8 years.
  • - Patients displayed various symptoms at diagnosis, with 30.6% being asymptomatic, and diagnostic criteria revealed differences in categorizations of AIH between revised original and simplified criteria.
