Neoheterobothrium chilensis n. sp. (Monogenea: Diclidophoridae), a parasite of the bigeye flounder Hippoglossina macrops (Paralichthyidae: Pleuronectiformes) from northern Chile.

Neoheterobothrium chilensis n. sp. (Monogenea: Diclidophoridae) from the gills of the bigeye flounder Hippoglossina macrops (Paralichthyidae: Pleuronectiformes) from northern Chile (30 degrees 11'S, 71 degrees 51'W) is described and compared with the known species in the genus.
