Based on the synergistic effects of topoisomerase (Top) inhibitors and histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors in cancer therapy, a series of novel Top/HDAC dual inhibitors were designed and synthesized herein. The optimal compound was identified to simultaneously inhibit both Tops and HDACs with potent antiproliferative activity against nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Mechanistic studies indicated that compound with increasing reactive oxygen species levels damages DNA, inhibiting cancer cell colony formation and migration and inducing both cancer cell apoptosis and cycle arrest.

Due to the complexity of the strata, it is difficult to monitor and identify the disasters induced by rock fractures in the process of mining deep coal resources. This will seriously affect the safety and sustainable mining of coal. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the failure mechanisms and acoustic emission (AE) characteristics of different rocks.

A new fluid alternative to slick water for fracturing shale gas can reduce the waste of water resources and improve the extraction efficiency, enabling volumetric fracturing. For the new fracturing technique, the experiments of different release pressures under pre-injection and for pre-injection were conducted using a self-designed true triaxial experimental system, and the pressure pulse curves were plotted to analyze the fracturing principle. The experimental results showed that: (1) the pressure rise curve in the reactor can be divided into five stages: initial reaction, linear pressure rise, rate slowdown, instantaneous pressure release, and residual pressure stages; (2) Pre-filling fracturing requires a smaller expansion ratio, weaker pressure degradation, resulting in better fracturing effect; (3) The increase in the initial fracture length leads to an increase in the pressure required to extend the fracture, and high-pressure subcritical water impact fracturing achieved fracture extension at a lower fluid pressure; (4) The fractal dimension has a strong linear relationship with fracture complexity, which is a new option when evaluating the fracturing effect.

Incipient fault detection in a hydraulic system is a challenge in the condition monitoring community. Existing research mainly monitors abnormal working conditions in hydraulic systems by separately detecting the key working parameter, which often causes a high miss warning rate for incipient faults due to the oversight of parameter dependence. A principal component analysis provides an effective method for incipient fault detection by taking the correlation of multiple parameters into consideration, but this technique assumes the systems are Gaussian-distributed, making it invalid for a dynamic non-Gaussian system.

In the process of green and smart mine construction under the context of carbon neutrality, China's coal safety situation has been continuously improved in recent years. In order to recognize the development of coal production in China and prepare for future monitoring and prevention of safety incidents, this study mainly elaborated on the basic situation of coal resources and national mining accidents over the past five years  (2017-2021), from four dimensions (accident level, type, region, and time), and then proposed the preventive measures based on accident statistical laws. The results show that the storage of coal resources has obvious geographic characteristics, mainly concentrated in the Midwest, with coal resources in Shanxi and Shaanxi accounting for about 49.

To investigate the effect of water on the mechanical properties and acoustic emission (AE) characteristics of coal in the failure and deformation processes. Coal samples of different content were subjected to uniaxial compression tests and AE signals were monitored. The characteristics of the AE signals were further analyzed using fractal analysis.

Rockburst is a major disaster in deep mining, restricting the safety and the production efficiency of the Laohutai Coal Mine in Fushun, Liaoning Province. To predict and prevent coalmine rockbursts, a comprehensive method based on multi-instrument monitoring is proposed by using a YDD16 acoustic-electromagnetic monitor and microseismic monitoring system, including microseismic (MS) monitoring, electromagnetic radiation (EMR) monitoring, and acoustic emission (AE) monitoring. Field investigation shows that MS, AE, and EMR signals have abnormal precursors before rockbursts in a new working face.

The long-term stability of coal mine roadway engineering is critical to the safe mining of coal resources and the protection of the surface environment. In this paper, the creep test of coal samples in coal roadway was carried out by multi-stage constant load method, and the test results showed that when the stress level was low, the creep curve had a attenuated stage and a steady-state stage, and the steady-state creep rate tended to increase with the increase in the stress level; When the stress level was higher than the yield stress, the creep rate curve appeared to have an acceleration stage after the steady-state stage. The instability failure mode of the coal sample was mainly shear failure with local tension failure.

During the deformation and fracture process, the acoustic emission (AE) signals can be produced for the of coal, rock and other solid materials, which revealing the damage localization evolution process. The effect of gas adsorption and pressure can change mechanical properties of coal mass and affect its damage development. Based on this, the experimental system for gas-bearing coal loading and AE monitoring was constructed, to analyze AE response characteristics under the joint action of loading stress and gas pressure on coal specimen.

Across the world, coal resource is widely utilized in industrial production. During coal mining activities, dynamic disasters may be induced, such as coal and gas outbursts, or rock burst, resulting in serious accidents or disasters. Previous studies have shown that electric potential (EP) signals can be produced during the deformation and fracture process of coal and rock mass under load.

In-situ coal bio-gasification can be defined as one of the coal bio-mining methodology that fully utilizes the methanogenic bacteria in coal to review the current findings, namely anaerobic digestion of organic components. The following experiment has been done in regards, one vertical well and one multi-branch horizontal well were used as experiment wells and two vertical wells were used as control wells, the pilot test was carried out with single well nutrition injection method. By applying the above mentioned method, the concentration of Cl ion and number altered in spp.

The causes of the higher incidence of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) on a given day are unclear. Previous studies have shown that it may vary by region and population. The purpose of this study was to detect weekly variations in ICH occurrence in southwest China and to assess differences in ICH occurrence among different populations.

Background: The onset time of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) may be closely related to the working style and living habits of people, which are determined by different income sources in China. Therefore, the purpose of our study was to investigate the Circadian Variations in the occurrence of ICH from different sources of income.

Methods: This retrospective study enrolled 4,327 patients with first-ever ICH.

Coal and gas outbursts are among the most severe disasters threatening the safety of coal mines around the world. They are dynamic phenomena characterized by large quantities of coal and gas ejected from working faces within a short time. Numerous researchers have conducted studies on outburst prediction, and a variety of indices have been developed to this end.

In the coal biogasification, butyric acid is an important intermediate product. The enrichment of butyric acid-producing bacteria in coal geological methanogens is critical to confirm this assertion. Therefore, to study a method for enrichment of butyric acid-producing bacteria and to explore characteristic factors for evaluating the enrichment effect would be the basis for further strain isolation and metabolomics research.

High temperature causes thermal damage to rock; the macrofracture and microfracture of rock can be produced under the action of temperature treatment. Under the influence of high temperature, the surrounding rock of deep underground engineering will suffer instability damage and cause serious harm to the people. In order to use the electromagnetic radiation (EMR) technology (a non-contact geophysical method) for evaluating the thermal stability of rock in underground thermal engineering applications, we established the EMR testing experimental system of rock under the action of a continuous heat source.

Microbially enhanced coalbed methane technology must be used to increase the methane content in mining and generate secondary biogenic gas. In this technology, the metabolic processes of methanogenic consortia are the basis for the production of biomethane from some of the organic compounds in coal. Thus, culture nutrition plays an important role in remediating the nutritional deficiency of a coal seam.
