Efficacy and safety of adalimumab 80 mg in the treatment of psoriasis: a bicentric retrospective study.

Adalimumab (ADA) is a recombinant human monoclonal antibody indicated for the treatment of psoriasis that specifically inhibits tumor necrosis factor. Until recently we only had the presentation of 40 mg of ADA, being the standard dose in adults an initial administration of 80 mg, followed by 40 mg every 2 weeks. Newly the presentation of 80 mg of ADA has been commercialized, allowing the administration of the standard dose or a higher dose, with fewer injections.

Omalizumab in chronic urticaria: a retrospective series of 15 cases.

Omalizumab is a monoclonal anti-IgE antibody approved for the treatment of severe allergic asthma. There is increasing evidence in the literature of its usefulness in chronic urticaria. Herein, we report a retrospective case series of 15 patients with chronic idiopathic urticaria treated with omalizumab.

Efficacy and safety of clinical use of etanercept for the treatment of moderate-to-severe psoriasis in Spain: results of a multicentric prospective study at 12 months follow-up.

Background: The efficacy of etanercept in the treatment of psoriasis has been demonstrated in several clinical trials, but information regarding results derived from prospective observational studies in clinical practice is scarce.

Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of etanercept administration according to routine clinical use in moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis.

Materials And Methods: Postauthorization, prospective study, carried out at 59 dermatology units in Spain.
