Rationale: The present study aimed to understand the experiences of intern nurses returning to clinical practice after a year-long distance education during the pandemic.
Methods: The study was conducted using the qualitative content analysis method. The participants were 32 intern nurses.
Objectives: The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of Reiki applied to cancer patients on their pain, anxiety, and stress levels.
Methods: This three-armed, double-blinded, and randomized follow-up trial, which involves experimental, placebo and control groups, enrolled 58 cancer patients at a medical center in Türkiye. The data for the research was collected a total of four times, including pre-test, 4th day follow-up, 21st day follow-up and 3rd month follow-up periods, using the Visual Analog Scale, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and Perceived Stress Scale.

GABA is the primary inhibitory neurotransmitter in the adult brain and through its actions on GABARs, it protects against excitotoxicity and seizure activity, ensures temporal fidelity of neurotransmission, and regulates concerted rhythmic activity of neuronal populations. In the developing brain, the development of GABAergic neurons precedes that of glutamatergic neurons and the GABA system serves as a guide and framework for the development of other brain systems. Despite this early start, the maturation of the GABA system also continues well into the early postnatal period.

No sampling method was used, and the study sample consisted of 21 mothers who fulfilled the inclusion criteria of turning 18 years old, volunteering for study participation, speaking and understanding Turkish, and having a child who had undergone Allo-BMT.
Background: It is critical to clarify the biochemical factors associated with thrombosis development following tunneled dialysis catheter (TDC) insertion.
Methods: The study involved retrospective analysis of charts of patients hospitalized for permanent TDC placement between 2013 and 2020 in a tertiary academic center. Patients undergoing a hemodialysis schedule with permanent TDC for more than three months were included in the study.

In severe COVID-19, the levels of iron (Fe), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn) and selenium (Se), do not only regulate host immune responses, but modify the viral genome, as well. While low serum Fe concentration is an independent risk factor for the increased death rate, Zn controls oxidative stress, synthesis of inflammatory cytokines and viral replication. Cerebral Proliferative Angiopathy (CPA) is a rare vascular malformation that is distinguished from classical brain arteriovenous malformations (AVM) in its imaging findings and clinical progression but more importantly in its pathophysiology.
