Purpose: To evaluate whether the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) can predict the need for ureteral catheterization in patients with renal colic.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively studied 15,887 patients with renal colic between 2005 and 2019. Patients with prior antibiotics treatment (156), with hematological diseases (15), with negative computerized tomography scan (CTS) for stone disease (473) or with no available laboratory findings (1750) were excluded.
Introduction: Secondary retroperitoneal fibrosis (RPF) due to pelvic radiation alone or together with pelvic surgery is one of the causes of obstructive renal failure. Ureteral obstruction is caused by ischemic stricture and encasement by fibrotic tissue. Endo-ureterotomy alone, without vascular supply, is not successful in these cases.

Introduction: The articulated Endo GIA stapler has proven itself as an important addition to the technical armamentarium of radical cystectomy (RC) [1]. RC in female patients is technically more challenging than in males, especially when improved functional results and life quality issues, such as vaginal preservation and nerve sparing, are pursued. Additionally, the use of the endo stapler reduces bleeding in female cystectomy [1].

Patients And Methods: We performed a prospective study of patients with mRCC who received targeted therapy in the Soroka Medical Center between 2013 and 2015.
Testicular metastases from renal cell carcinoma (RCC) are extremely rare. To the best of our knowledge, only 33 cases have been described in the literature. Most of the reported cases are of unilateral testicular metastasis from RCC.

Malignant melanoma (MM) of the penis represents an uncommon form of genitourinary malignancies, which account for about 1% of all cases of melanoma. Amelanotic malignant melanoma (AMM) lacks the pigmented elements, which is the hallmark of melanoma. This is a challenging diagnosis since confusion might be made with a variety of benign lesions, causing a delay in appropriate medical treatment.

Methods: A retrospective population-based study comparing all pregnancies of women with and without nephrolithiasis between 1989 and 2010 was conducted. Clinical characteristics were compared, and the obstetric risk factors and labor complication were analyzed.
A 20-day-old male neonate presented with fever and hydronephrosis. Evaluation revealed that the patient had a single left kidney and a rare combination of multiple congenital malformations: upper pole segmental multicystic dysplasia, ureteropelvic junction obstruction, and an obstructive and refluxing megaureter (ureterovesical junction obstruction). We performed percutaneous drainage of the infected and obstructed upper collecting system and then used a sequential approach to manage the patient's anomalies.

Case: We report on a 5(1/2)-year-old girl with recurrent lower urinary tract infection as the sole presentation of multiple vaginal foreign bodies.
Alpha-adrenergic blockers are an established form of medical treatment for symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Several medications of the class are available, each with its own characteristics. The authors attempted to define the differences between the currently available medications (Terazosin, Doxazosin, Alfuzosin, and Tamsulosin), and to present an evidence-based recommendation for choosing the best treatment option.

Southern Israel has been regarded as a melting pot and, perhaps more than the rest of the country, has encouraged the ingathering of immigrants from several countries, as well as a large Bedouin community.
Objectives: In an attempt to determine any differences that may exist in population groups in Israel, we have examined clinical and biologic markers in patients diagnosed with prostatic cancer in Southern Israel in 1996-2000.
We report a case of a large inguino-scrotal bladder hernia presenting with obstructive lower urinary symptoms and causing massive unilateral uretero-hydronephrosis with ipsilateral renal function deterioration. Careful anamnesis and computer tomography (CT) scan of the abdomen and pelvis were important for the diagnosis. Open surgery with mesh hernia repair was successful.

Design: Prospective study and a detailed case report.
Setting: Medical center in southern Israel.
Introduction: To present a technical modification of the classic dismembered pyeloplasty technique. We have implemented it in 112 pyeloplasties performed during the past 15 years.
Technical Considerations: The technical modification is based on a renal pelvis flap kept undetached from the ureteropelvic junction, and consequently from the ureter, until near completion of the new ureteropelvic anastomosis.
Objective: To report on the outcome of patients with intermediate and high risk of recurrence who underwent radical prostatectomy (RP).
Methods: Eighty-five consecutive patients categorized as intermediate (17.5%) and high risk (82.
