Linaclotide for treating patients with irritable bowel syndrome with predominant constipation: a multicentre study of real-world data in China.

Introduction: Linaclotide, a guanylate cyclase C agonist that improves the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome with predominant constipation (IBS-C), has been recently approved for IBS-C treatment. This study aimed to report real-world data on linaclotide treatment in China.

Methods: This was a prospective multicentre study of the effectiveness of linaclotide treatment in patients with IBS-C from 10 primary medical institutions.

Previous studies have found that the polymorphisms of tumor necrosis factor-α induced protein 3 (TNFAIP3) were associated with several autoimmune diseases. However, the role of TNFAIP3 polymorphisms in type-1 autoimmune hepatitis (AIH-1) remained unclear. The present study aimed to clarify the association of TNFAIP3 polymorphisms with AIH-1 risk in a Chinese Han population.
