Article Synopsis
  • Parkinson's Disease (PD) leads to decreased motor skills and increased frailty, which heightens risks like falls and disease progression in older adults.
  • The study assessed 27 participants with PD, examining how frailty affects balance and gait, and whether there are differences between sexes.
  • Results indicated that frail individuals had worse postural control, but gait parameters were similar, with significant differences in certain gait measures between men and women.
