An evaluation of the effect of the use of platelet-rich fibrin on tonsillectomy results.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of liquid platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) during tonsillectomy on postoperative results.

Patients And Methods: This study included 41 patients who underwent tonsillectomy between April 2022 and January 2023. Liquid-PRF at a dose of 1 ​cc was injected to three different points of one of the tonsil fossae, selected at random intraoperatively.
