Background: We aimed to examine the efficacy of intravenous vitamin C (IV-VC) in the treatment of hospitalized patients with moderate or severe COVID-19.
Method: We conducted a single-center and retrospective study including patients with COVID-19 diagnosis who were hospitalized. Patients were categorized into three groups as those who received low-dose (LDVC group, 2 g/day, n = 183) or high-dose IV-VC (HDVC group, 25 g/day, n = 41) and who did not receive IV-VC (control group, n = 46).
Objectives: To analyse impact of segmentectomy on oncological outcomes of different peripheral early-stage lung adenocarcinoma patterns.
Methods: Retrospective multicentre study including patients who underwent either lobectomy or segmentectomy in 6 European centres from 2015 to 2021, for ≤2 cm pathological peripheral lung adenocarcinoma. Overall and disease-free survivals were assessed by cox-regression and lung cancer-specific survival by competing regression analyses to adjust for patient- and tumour-related factors both in the entire dataset and the in aggressive adenocarcinoma patterns dataset.
Background: This article is aimed to make predictions in terms of prognostic factors and compare prediction methods by using Cox proportional hazards regression analysis (CPH), some machine learning techniques and Accelerated Failure Time (AFT) model for post-treatment survival probabilities according to clinical presentations and pathological information of early-stage breast cancer patients.
Material And Methods: The study was carried out in three stages. In the first stage, the CPH method was applied.

Objective: Due to the high increase in rate of autism, it has gained great importance to determine the etiology of autism spectrum disorder. The purpose of our study was to assess the role of Candida albicans as a risk factor to cause autism behavior.
Methods: We searched Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science and PsycINFO for articles up to December, 2021.
Objectives: This study aimed to assess the clinical performance outcome at 36 months of molars with molar incisor hypomineralization and carious lesions, treated with two different restorative approaches following selective caries removal.
Methods: The children aged 6 to 12 years (18 female, 13 male) included in the study had at least two carious permanent first molars diagnosed with molar incisor hypomineralization. Sixty-two molars were restored in a split-mouth design.

Objectives: Segmentectomy may be indicated for T1a-cN0 non-small-cell lung cancer. However, several patients are upstaged pT2a at final pathological examination due to visceral pleural invasion (VPI). As resection is usually not completed to lobectomy, this may raise issue of potential worse prognosis.

When this occurs, it would be better to use alternative methods that are more powerful for the evaluation of various effective independent variables, such as milestone survival analysis, restricted mean survival time analysis (RMST), area under the survival curve (AUSC) method, parametric accelerated failure time (AFT), machine learning, nomograms, and offset variable in logistic regression. The aim was to discuss the pros and cons of these methods, especially with respect to long-term follow-up survival studies.

During the process of toilet training, voiding and defecation problems may develop, which have a major adverse impact on the child's quality of life (QoL). The aim of this study was to assess voiding and defecation problems in the process of toilet training and evaluate how these issues influenced the children's QoL.

The term "prostatitis" was searched by relevance and the first 200 video links and features were recorded. Using the 5-point modified DISCERN tool, Global Quality Score (GQS), and Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) score, the quality and reliability of the information were assessed by two urologists.

This study was conducted to determine the seropositivity and risk factors associated with BRSV infection and to evaluate the phylogenetic relatedness of the BRSVs in the inner Aegean region of Turkey. In this cross-sectional study, serum samples (n = 557) and nasal swabs (n = 21) were collected from cattle herds (n = 43) between February 2018 and March 2019.

Methods: Medical records and SD-OCT findings were retrospectively reviewed.
Results: Mean best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was 0.
Studies show that erectile dysfunction (ED) is associated with obesity, and it has been shown that the possibility of developing sexual dysfunction in obese men is 30% higher compared to those with normal weight. Obesity is measured using various methods, for example waist circumference (WC) measurement or body mass index (BMI), but recently, visceral adiposity index (VAI) has also been utilised to better assess obesity and metabolic syndrome. In our study, the potential link between VAI and ED was investigated.

Methods In this cross-sectional study, a questionnaire including demographic information and the KIDMED index was administered to 354 medical school students (206 first-year and 148 third-year students). The students' sex, body mass index, KIDMED score, place of residence, smoking habit, media screen time, and regular exercising variables were evaluated.
