In this study, a novel actinomycete strain, DSD3025, isolated from the underexplored marine sediments in Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, Sulu Sea, Philippines, with the proposed name sp. nov., was described using polyphasic approaches and characterized using whole-genome sequencing.
