Charcot neuroarthropathy is a devastating condition, most commonly affecting poorly controlled diabetic patients with peripheral neuropathy. Pharmacological options for the condition are currently limited. Context: In the process of analyzing entrustable professional activities (EPAs) for use in medical education, ten Cate and others identified challenges, including the need for valid and reliable EPA assessment strategies.

Objective: To provide osteopathic medical schools with a database of assessment tools compiled from the literature to assist them with the development and implementation of robust, evidence-based assessment methods.

Methods: MEDLINE, ERIC, PubMed, and other relevant databases were searched using MeSH keywords for articles outlining robust, evidence-based assessment tools that could be used in designing assessments for EPAs 1 through 6.

Entrustable professional activities (EPAs) are measurable units of observable professional practice that can be entrusted to an unsupervised trainee. They were first introduced as a method of operationalizing competency-based medical education in graduate medical education. The American Association of Medical Colleges subsequently used EPAs to establish the core skills that medical students must be able to perform before they enter residency training.

Purpose: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) can significantly affect both health and non-health-related quality of life (HRQOL and non-HRQOL). However, of the existent published patient-reported outcome (PRO) tools, none were developed from US patients, an ethnically diverse population.
