The ganglion of the wrist is very common but with uncertain prognosis. The arthroscopic resection seems to improve the result compared with open procedure, in decreasing recurrence and morbidity. Volar ganglions are close to the radial artery, the flexor pollicis longus tendon, and even the median nerve.
