The impact of blended learning on students using the IBOX platform: Initial perspectives of teachers.

The study examined the perceptions and strategies adopted by teachers in using the IBOX learning platform for teaching. The researchers employed an exploratory qualitative research approach to know the learning experiences of teachers who use the IBOX in their teaching. The theories adopted in this study were the social learning and social constructivism theory.

User experiences of a mobile phone-based health information and surveillance system (mHISS): A case of caregivers of children under-five in rural communities in Ghana.

Background: The rapid advancement of mobile technology has fueled the use of mobile devices for health interventions and for improving healthcare provision in underserved communities. Despite the potential of mHealth being used as a health information and surveillance tool, its scale-up has been challenging and, in most cases, unable to advance beyond the pilot stage of implementation. The purpose of this study was to explore user experiences of a mobile phone-based interactive voice response (IVR) system among caregivers of children under-five in rural communities in the Asante Akim North District of Ghana.

Rural Ghanaian households are more likely to use alternative unimproved water sources when water from boreholes has undesirable organoleptic characteristics.

Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 aims to achieve universal access to safe drinking water sources. However, the health benefits of meeting this goal will only be fully realized if improved sources are used to the exclusion of unimproved sources. Very little is known about how rural African households balance the use of improved and unimproved water sources when multiple options are present.
