This article presents a 52-year-old woman scheduled for elective arthroscopic rotator cuff repair under general anesthesia in the lateral decubitus position. Postoperatively, the patient experienced dyspnea, chest pain, and oxygen desaturation, and a diagnosis of pneumothorax was made.
