Assessment of the biosorption characteristics of a macro-fungus for the decolorization of Acid Red 44 (AR44) dye.

This study focuses on the possible use of macro-fungus Agaricus bisporus to remove Acid Red 44 dye from aqueous solutions. Batch equilibrium studies were carried out as a function of pH, biomass amount, contact time and temperature to determine the decolorization efficiency of biosorbent.
