Effects of socio-demographical characteristics of high school students on smartphone addiction and depression.

This study was conducted to determine the smartphone addiction and severity of depressive symptoms of high school students. In this descriptive cross-sectional and correlational study, the sample consisted of 1744 high school students. In the study, data were collected using a Descriptive Questionnaire, the Smartphone Addiction Scale-Short Form, and the Depression Scale for Children.

The Effect of Acupressure on Anxiety and Pain Among Patients Undergoing Coronary Angiography: A Randomized Controlled Trial.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of acupressure on anxiety and pain of patients undergoing coronary angiography procedures. This study was conducted in a cardiology clinic of the training and research hospital in of a province of southeast Turkey. A randomized control group design was used.

Effect of Acupressure on the Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, and Pain Severity of Patients who Underwent Coronary Angiography: A Randomized Controlled Trial.

Background: Patients experience a fear of death and consequent anxiety before coronary angiography (CA). High levels of stress cause cardiac irritability and increased blood pressure. Acupressure is a non-pharmacological nursing intervention that can relieve and reduce pain and regulate anxiety-related blood pressure levels.

The relationship between sleep quality and dyspnoea severity in patients with COPD.

Objectives: This study aimed to determine sleep quality, frequency and severity of dyspnoea in COPD patients and to evaluate the relationship between dyspnoea severity and sleep quality.

Method: The sample of the study consisted of 110 patients admitted to the Chest Diseases polyclinic of a private hospital and diagnosed as COPD for at least one year. The data of the study were collected using the "Individual Information Form", "COPD and Asthma Sleep Scale (CASIS)" and "Medical Research Council (MRC) Dyspnoea Scale".

The Effect of Acupressure on Daytime Sleepiness and Sleep Quality in Hemodialysis Patients.

This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of acupressure applied to hemodialysis patients on the level of daytime sleepiness and sleep quality. The data were collected using the Descriptive Information Form, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, and Epworth Sleepiness Scale. In the study, a total of 12 sessions of acupressure were applied to the Shenmen (HT7), Sanyingjao (Sp6), and Yungquan (KI1) points in the experimental group for 4 weeks.
