Central type of chondrosarcoma with a fulminant course--a case report.

Primary chondrosarcoma is a rare malignant tumor. The five types of chondrosarcomas are: central, peripheral, mesenchymal, differentiated and clear cell. The classic chondrosarcomas are central (arising within a bone) or peripheral (arising from the surface of a bone).

Primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the humerus presenting as osteomyelitis.

We report a case of primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the humerus that occurred in a 21-year-old male patient. A previously healthy man presented with the history of severe pain and a differential diagnosis from osteomyelitis to malignant lesion was suspected. A biopsy was performed and the final pathologic diagnosis was a diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Aspergilloma in a pulmonary abscess--the first manifestation of malignant bronchial obstruction.

We report a case of aspergilloma in a pulmonary abscess being the first manifestation of malignant bronchial obstruction. In our case, only the autopsy revealed that planocellular carcinoma was the real cause of aspergilloma. Malignant bronchial obstruction finally resulted in pulmonary abscess with secondary fungal colonization.

Breast infiltrating ductal carcinoma: analysis of hormone, HER-2 receptors and Ki-67 proliferation marker.

The aim of this study was to analyse breast carcinomas with discordant receptor status, probably hormonal dependent (estrogen receptor (ER) positive, progesterone receptor (PR) negative or ER-PR + subgroup profile) infiltrating ductal breast carcinomas not otherwise specified (IDC NOS). Specimens from 90 IDC NOS were grouped into three categories according to hormonal status: dependent (D) (ER +PR +), probably dependent (PD) (ER +PR- or ER-PR +) and non-dependent (ND) (ER-PR-); they were evaluated considering some established prognostic parameters in breast carcinomas.
