Introduction: Avoidant and restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) is characterized by restrictions in oral intake and does not include concerns related to body image. Despite the evidence-based medical and behavioral treatments, there is limited research as they apply to ARFID, but the extant research supports hospital-based behavioral therapy. Individuals with ARFID may have comorbidities that can affect treatment, which requires multidisciplinary treatment to provide effective care.

The primary purpose of the current study was to compare the effectiveness of two different topographies of intraverbals on the emergence of untrained relations between letters and their phonemic sounds for two elementary aged children with ASD. Given frequent difficulties answering WH-questions for children with ASD, assessment and training using questions or statements was compared using a test-train-test sequence.

The ecological effects of these secondary disturbances are poorly understood but are potentially important in the context of managing for ecological restoration and fire hazard mitigation. We investigated the effects of blowdown, surface fires, and MPB outbreaks on demographic processes in post-fire lodgepole pine stands in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, USA.
