Mental Health Nurses' Knowledge of Entry-to-Practice Competencies in Psychiatric Care.

Background: Clinicians working in inpatient psychiatry provide health care to some of the most seriously ill and vulnerable patients with mental illness. Continuing education is a mechanism through which practicing nurses maintain and improve clinical knowledge and skills. This project aimed to assess mental health care-related knowledge and learning needs of nurses working in psychiatry.
