Germline mutations that increase signaling through the Ras pathway can cause developmental disorders called RASopathies. The RASopathy Costello syndrome has been described to present with hallmarks that include short stature, intellectual disability, cardiac issues, and characteristic facial abnormalities and has been associated with gain-of-function mutations in HRas. The most common HRas mutations in Costello Syndrome occur at G12 and G13, but there are also other rare mutation sites such as K117 including HRas .

Introduction: Morel-Lavallee lesions (MLL) are closed degloving injuries, often requiring complex management when infected. We evaluated if early debridement reduces infection risk compared to observation.

Methods: We conducted a single-center retrospective study of MLL in adults from 2012 to 2022, analyzing diagnoses, infection, demographics, and hospital outcomes.

An Atypical Migration Pattern of Tattoo Pigment.

Unwanted diffusion of pigment past the original margins of a tattoo, termed "tattoo blowout," appears as a blurred rim classically surrounding the original tattoo borders. The darkened skin is visibly noted within hours to days following the tattooing procedure. Although this complication is not largely covered in literature, in prior cases, blowout has been shown to occur in areas of thin skin such as the dorsum of the foot.

Laryngeal cancers are one of the most common head and neck malignancies and can lead to significant morbidity and mortality. Although they most commonly originate from squamous cell carcinoma, there are multiple different pathologies that can arise. We present a patient with an atypical presentation of a glottic mass for which final pathology revealed a leiomyosarcoma (LMS).
