Background: Third-trimester studies in selected high-risk pregnancies have reported that low cerebroplacental ratio, due to high pulsatility index in the umbilical artery, and or decreased pulsatility index in the fetal middle cerebral artery, is associated with increased risk of adverse perinatal outcomes.
Objective: To investigate the predictive performance of screening for adverse perinatal outcome by the cerebroplacental ratio measured routinely at 35-37 weeks' gestation.
Study Design: This was a prospective observational study in 47,211 women with singleton pregnancies undergoing routine ultrasound examination at 35 to 37 weeks' gestation, including measurement of umbilical artery-pulsatility index and middle cerebral artery-pulsatility index.
Case report of a 39-year-old intended mother of a surrogate pregnancy who underwent induction of lactation by sequential exposure to galactagogue drugs (metoclopramide and domperidone), nipple mechanical stimulation with an electric pump, and suction by the newborn. The study aimed to analyze the effect of each step of the protocol on serum prolactin levels, milk secretion and mother satisfaction, in the set of surrogacy. Serum prolactin levels and milk production had no significant changes.

It is considered the leading cause of anovulatory infertility, menstrual disorders and hyperandrogenism in this population. The genetic basis of PCOS is still largely unknown despite significant family clustering; determining its mode of inheritance is particularly difficult given the heterogenic presentation of the disease.
