Globally the community of people with HIV is ageing, and some of these have increasingly complex care needs, with a known excess of non-HIV related comorbidities and related issues including consequent polypharmacy. At the 2022 International AIDS Conference in Montréal, Canada, the "Silver Zone" was created in the Global Village as a safe space for older people with HIV. As part of the Silver Zone activities, a session discussing global models of care for in this group was held.

This systematic literature review summarizes clinical trial and real-world evidence evaluating impact of dolutegravir plus lamivudine on inflammatory and atherogenesis biomarkers in people with human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (PWH).
Methods: Using Ovid MEDLINE, Embase, PubMed, and Cochrane library databases and conference proceedings, we searched for studies published from 1 January 2013 to 14 July 2021, reporting changes in inflammatory and atherogenesis biomarkers with dolutegravir plus lamivudine in antiretroviral therapy-experienced, virologically suppressed PWH aged ≥18 years.
Background: The impact of warm ischemia time (WIT) on renal functional recovery remains controversial. We examined the length of WIT>30 min on the long-term renal function following on-clamp partial nephrectomy (PN).
Methods: Data from 23 centers for patients undergoing on-clamp PN between 2000 and 2018 were analyzed.
Background: The rapid decline in use of conventional total hip replacement with a large femoral head size and a metal-on-metal bearing surface might lead to increased popularity of ceramic-on-ceramic bearings as another hard-on-hard alternative that allows implantation of a larger head. We sought to address comparative effectiveness of ceramic-on-ceramic and metal-on-HXLPE (highly cross-linked polyethylene) implants by utilizing the distributed health data network of the ICOR (International Consortium of Orthopaedic Registries), an unprecedented collaboration of national and regional registries and the U.S.

However, no information is available regarding the effect of femoral head size on the survivorship of HXLPE hip prostheses. The aim of the present study was to provide evidence regarding whether femoral head size has an effect on the risk of revision when an HXLPE liner is used on a metal head.

In the experiment, we investigated grammatical gender agreement processing in Spanish article-noun word pairs using a grammaticality judgment task. Article-noun pairs either agreed or did not agree in gender.
