[Ejaculatory disorders in some regions of the Russian Federation].

Ejaculatory disorders are one of the most frequent sexual dysfunction. To study this problem in different climatic regions, we made a population-based trial with participation of 543 Russian men (149 from the south of Russia, 394 from Siberia). Correlation of ejaculatory disorders with IELT duration, a testosterone level, comorbid chronic prostatitis was estimated.

[Resistance of causative agents of uncomplicated urinary tract infections in Russia].

A prospective epidemiological study of the spectrum of causative agents (CA) of uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTI) in adult patients and CA resistance to antimicrobial drugs was conducted in nine cities of the Russian Federation in 2004-2005. Minimum inhibiting concentrations were ascertained by dilution in agar according to NCCLS (2000-2002) recommendations. The study has found that uncomplicated UTI are most frequently caused by E.

[Study of the natural sensitivity of Ixodes to insecticides].

The article deals with the results obtained in the study of the natural sensitivity of the nature populations of Ixodes ticks to 4 insecticides. As revealed in this study, the ticks are highly sensitive to commercial preparations in different phases of their development. The selective sensitivity of different species of ticks to these preparations is noted.
