Objectives: to know the meaning of contemporary nursing from the experience of intensive care nurses.
Methods: qualitative research based on the theoretical framework of Symbolic Interactionism and the methodological framework of Interpretive Interactionism. The setting was a general hospital in Bahia, being carried out with 12 nurses working in intensive care for at least one year, through semi-structured interviews and drawing-text-theme technique, whose data were organized according to Miles and Huberman and analyzed upon the referential.
Objective: To unveil spirituality in the care process of nursing professionals in the hospital context under the lens of Transpersonal Caring.
Method: A descriptive-exploratory study implementing a qualitative approach conducted with professionals from the nursing team in a general hospital in Bahia, using a semi-structured interview submitted to the content analysis technique and analyzed from the perspective of the Theory of Transpersonal Caring theoretical framework.
Results: There were 16 professionals who participated.
Objective: to analyze the attributes, antecedents and consequences of the concept a "good nurse" in the context of Pediatrics.
Method: concept analysis study based on Rodgers' evolutionary method. Theoretical stage consisted of searching for articles in the CINAHL, Embase and Pubmed databases and a practical stage of semi-structured interviews with pediatric nurses.

Objective: The aim of this paper was to reveal the individual nurse in the leadership process for transpersonal care of the nursing team.
Method: This is a descriptive-exploratory and qualitative study grounded in Transpersonal Care provided at the General Hospital in Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, with 10 nurses who coordinated services at the unit in 2013. Data were collected using a mirror and semi-structured interviews subjected to thematic analysis.
This study identifies the perceptions of undergraduate nursing students concerning their education to provide transpersonal care. This qualitative study was conducted in four public universities in Bahia, Brazil with 16 seniors (non-probabilistic sampling) through semi-structured interviews, analyzed through the Collective Subject Discourse. The results expressed the students' feelings in the face of the challenge to provide transpersonal care; the psycho-cognitive competencies required by inter-subjective praxis; their perceptions concerning the curriculum in relation to the psycho-emotional dimension of being, untying critical knots; strategies suggested.
